The Allegheny River Wilderness Sojourn is three days of guided paddling on the 2017 designated River of the Year. Spend a single day or all three days experiencing and enjoying your time on this wild scenic river combining canoeing/ kayaking, camping (optional), educational presentations, its history and importance to all of western Pennsylvania.
A two-day trip will run Thursday and Friday, June 22-23, and offer the option of a primitive camping experience on Thursday night. The third day is a stand-alone 1-day paddle on Saturday June 24 concluding with a picnic supper from 4-6 PM for participants of both sojourns at Big Bend Visitors Center.
